Where nature became a beauty ritual

Aliza Jabès grew up with an interest in plants, encouraged by her pharmacist father. In the early 1990s, she acquired a small Parisian laboratory specializing in natural cosmetology and made research central to her vision for NUXE.

The brand’s history is closely tied to Huile Prodigieuse, introduced in 1991. Its oil texture and distinctive fragrance helped establish a sensory identity that would extend across face, body and hair care.

The pleasure of texture

Another familiar chapter began with Rêve de Miel lip balm in 1994. The brand recounts how an unexpectedly thick trial formula became part of the product’s character.

That interest in feel and fragrance remains a useful way to understand NUXE: botanical inspiration is developed through formulation, then experienced through the everyday pleasure of an oil, balm or cream.
