The beginning of phyto-aromatherapy

Yon-Ka began in 1954 with the Mühlethaler family and Laboratoires Multaler. Cécile, Ernest and Charles brought an interest in plants and essential oils into a new approach they called phyto-aromatherapy.

The idea combined aromatic experience with ingredients drawn from plants. Professional treatments helped give those formulas a setting, connecting scent, touch and skincare expertise.

A tradition that kept evolving

Later generations brought complementary backgrounds in biochemistry and aesthetics to the business. The brand expanded its professional presence while continuing to develop new skincare formats.

Today, the range’s cleansers, boosters and creams offer different ways to experience that botanical heritage. For a first-time buyer, Yon-Ka’s character is in the connection: plant knowledge made tangible through the atmosphere and ritual of care.
