Kai Shun Premier Tim Malzer Chef's Knife 20 cm
The Kai Shun Premier Tim Malzer Chef's Knife (TDM-1706) is the workhorse blade of the Shun Premier collection, hand-forged by master smiths in Seki, Japan in collaboration with chef Tim Malzer. Its 20 cm / 8 inch double-beveled blade has a VG-MAX super-steel core rated 61 HRC for a razor edge and long retention, clad in 32 layers of Damascus steel for flexibility and corrosion resistance. A hand-hammered tsuchime finish creates air pockets so food releases cleanly. The walnut-blended Pakkawood handle is resin-stabilized and waterproof with a comfortable chestnut profile. Ideal for chopping, slicing proteins, and mincing. Hand wash and dry only.
