While the matching wash handles brassiness in the shower, this conditioning step layers in cool pigment to correct yellow shift while restoring moisture and lustre to hair that lightening tends to leave dry. It puts bounce back into tired blonde, smoothing the lengths and adding the shine that keeps cool tones looking deliberate rather than washed out. Use it after the wash for a deeper tone correction, or on its own between violet shampoos to refresh colour. Either way, it conditions as it tones.
