The modular design ships in separate pieces -- core, hilt cover, emitter cap, and a telescoping white blade -- that twist together, and every part uses standardized locking tabs so you can mix and match with other Lightsaber Forge hilts and blades to build your own design. A quick flick of the wrist extends the telescoping blade into a locked combat position; push it down against a flat surface to retract it.
