Xerjoff Opera Eau de Parfum earns its name through contrast rather than volume alone. A ripe fruit basket and Turkish rose open it sweet and bright, and then the thing turns: ylang-ylang, warm leather, nutmeg and amber pull it somewhere darker and more animal. Vanilla, patchouli, cedarwood and smoky vetiver hold that tension for the rest of the night. Perfumer Chris Maurice built it as a full production, and it wears like one -- eight to twelve hours, with sillage that announces itself across a room. The gold crown cap and the Como silk foulard both suit the register. Unisex, and unmistakably an evening scent.
Product Features:
- Sweet fruit and Turkish rose open before leather, nutmeg and amber darken the heart.
- Holds eight to twelve hours with a sillage that carries clearly across a room.
- Vanilla, patchouli and smoky vetiver keep the base rich without turning cloying.
- Comes with the gold crown cap flacon and a silk foulard woven in Como, Italy.
How to Use:
Spray onto the warmest pulse points -- wrists, the base of the throat and behind the knees. Two sprays are usually enough given the projection. Let it settle without rubbing, and keep the flacon out of direct light.
